MTN Nigeria Plc last week, July 15, 2020, recorded another fist of its kind in Nigeria by launching the eSIM service on its network.
This service does not require the physical sim card, but a virtual one, which will improve the customer’s experience.
According to MTN Chief Operating Officer Mazen Mroue, ‘’unlike the physical SIMs, e-SIMs are built into smartphones, devices, and wearables. They support multiple profiles and allow customers to connect multiple numbers to their e-SIM devices.”
How to activate an eSIM
The eSIM trial is open to a limited number of subscribers and will run for one year. You’ll need to visit any MTN store to request for the service.
